  • Amazing album, feels like you're right there in the room at the Sands with Frank. HOWEVER, there are two big pits in the vinyl in my favorite song "One For My Baby." I purchased it brand new, still in shrink wrap, so i'm pretty disappointed. I wonder if anyone else has this same issue. I'm a pretty new collector but i've never come across such an obvious defect in a brand new record... two of them to be exact. It looks like someone smashed the needle into the vinyl. The record skips for 4 or 5 rotations because of them. Just be aware. A little bit of surface hiss but that blends in with the airiness of the live recording sound of the atmosphere so it's not bothersome at all. Aside form that it's a great sounding record. I would still buy it again.
