OK, so who would have thought that a "Late Night TV" offer would have turned out to be a "blessing in disguise". There is more to these tracks than perhaps original Turntables and systems could reproduce. We've always taken care of our vinyl, but upgraded turntable, cartridge (Nagoaka 110H) and external pre-amp (Schiit-Mani). Took the three LPs for spin bath in the Spin Clean MK II system and gave them a try. From the instant Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" opened up, my somewhat "OK, well let's see what these sound like" was quite quickly changed to "Say WHAT!" .. this was sounding really really good.. "Midnight at the Oasis" followed and Maria Muldaur never sounded better. Again, we took care and mine are dead quiet with no hiss or pops.. And now I'm REALLY glad. The price on these three LPs can't be any better and if you can get a really clean copy I would highly recommend it.. 33 really decent titles from a nice era.. Worth it!!
