Ten years ago I purchased this album on release day (at a different record store altogether). Got it home and was surprised and saddened when my turntable at the time could not play this because it was so SEVERELY WARPED it launched the needle off the playing surface - both sides. FAST FORWARD ten years to 2014 - bought said LP on sale ($12 - a bargain at todays mega-inflated prices). It looked flat in sealed outer sleeve, or so I thought 'here's a chance at a replacement' lp.So, in a decade, this label never had a recall - or better - a repressing for this apparent bad run (stored poorly? - maybe they put them ALL in a Mazac Transport cargo trailer in New Mexico - in the dead of summer - for 3 months, before distribution). An obvious quality issue that they NEVER addressed.BUYER beware of this Yep Roc release by this great band. Am I the only one? Has karma finally caught up to me in such a petty of way?Thankfully my new turntable is able to handle even the extremest of warped vinyl. Thanks Well Tempered Labs... Go to hell Yep Roc Records.
