The first release on the label is a 3 track EP from 3 different artists including the label owner himself. All tracks are processed trough a Reel2Reel tape to give it a lil' extra warmness trough its natural saturation. We start things with 'Saturated' from Vincenzo, and from the title we can already get that Saturation is a very important process in the making of this track, the track is defined by heavy gritty percussions and a spacey pad in the background which gives dimension to the song. On the other side of the vinyl we have Aurhythm with 'Savigny9000', a song inspired by the sound of Mr. G and is mainly defined by heavy kicks and dusty distorted hi-hats, a moody synth and an urban vocal cut from the mighty Elephant Man. Last track for our needle is 'Untitled' by Giovanni Scala, my personal favourite of the EP. An elegant hard house track identified by a great use of sampled rhodes and a dirty baseline. Again we can hear that Saturation and Distortion are used to re-create the great old-school raw vibes from Detroit.
